SHINE is a church rooted in the Word of God and no preaching without proof. SHINE church is a dynamic family of believers filled with hope and joy, experiencing the glory of transformed lives.
We believe that change begins with each of us, which is why we are committed to setting people free from the oppression of darkness and contributing to the imminent greatest revival of all time, which is rapidly approaching.
Our story
Founded by Bishop Patrick Andrianarivo in 2004, SHINE had a very humble beginning. What started as a prayer meeting with three people in a small modest room in Madagascar.
Through perseverance, prayer, and the undeniable power of God, SHINE expanded beyond its initial location, reaching new cities and touching lives in ways that exceeded all expectations. Today, the movement has grown into a network of over 400 satellite churches, each carrying the same fire, vision, and dedication to spreading the Gospel and demonstrating God’s power.
For over 20 years, SHINE has continued to raise and equip hundreds of leaders and establish new churches, ensuring that the message of faith, hope, and transformation reaches as many people as possible. Despite its incredible growth, the heart of SHINE remains unchanged—a warm, vibrant, and deeply connected family, filled with testimonies of God’s miracles, just as it was in the beginning.
The journey that began with three people in a small room has become a legacy of faith, touching countless lives and shaping the future of generations to come. And this is only the beginning.
A church that keeps growing
The first Sunday service in 2004 was organized by Bishop Patrick, accompanied by Reverend Fara, at “Resto Ampefiloha”.
Within just a few years, the church experienced remarkable growth, a testament to God’s grace and the unwavering dedication of its leaders and members. A small handful of people quickly multiplied—first fifty, then a hundred, and eventually reaching thousands. Lives were being changed, hearts were being healed, and the presence of God was tangible in every gathering. The hunger for truth and the manifestation of divine power drew more and more people, leading to an undeniable wave of revival.
As the church flourished, the need for expansion became evident. The regional growth of SHINE was not just a possibility but a necessity, as more communities yearned for a place to worship and experience God’s power. New branches were planted in different cities, each carrying the same fire and vision that had ignited the first gathering.
